Tita Hutchison

Tita is a published author with Hal Leonard Publishing. Her book - co-authored with Dena Murray- Advanced Vocal Technique: Middle Voice, Placement and Styles (Published in 2008), is sold throughout the US, Asia and Europe. Tita is also a featured instructor at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA and in 2005 and again in 2007 Tita was voted Instructor Of The Year. She is currently teaching and co-writing curriculum for Sightsinging (all levels), Private vocal lessons, Live Performance Workshops (LPWs), Vocal Performance (all levels which includes background vocal and ensembles), Project Recording 1 & 2, & Open Counseling. 

Because she continues to perform and record, Tita's strength as an instructor lies in her ability to bring her practical experience to the classroom. She combines the theory of technique, with the real world of the modern working vocalist helping her students to think on their feet and keep their head in the game at all times. Tita has a knack for taking the science of the voice and making it fun and easy to understand.
